Oh wow! Check that out! Now what is that on the top section near the starter? I also see some extra beefy metal by the diff.. Looks to be a bullet proof tranny!

It has a gusset welded under the load side for added strength in the case and a vent fitting on the top to relieve pressure. Oh and it's a Berg 5 speed. It was built by Steve Hollingsworth (VW Performance) there in Phoenix.
Are you planning to have your car together for the Phoenix BOR? A few of us Salt Lake City dubbers used to go to that show every year. It was always one of my favorites, especially with Frenchy's night before party.

Very nice! I thought it might be a 5 speed with that extra section! I do not plan on going to BOR THIS YEAR with the car. But I will go to Frenchy's pre show party and the BOR on sunday for sure. I can't wait! I might trailer the car down to Frenchy's show.. but.. we will see.
Post pics when you get that painted! I can't wait to see it! Looking good!!
